This is how the orc fancies himself to look ... While reading Stanchfield's excellent Drawn to Life series, I tried implementing a few improvements into my last drawing. I started out with a two-point perspective of a couple spheres and a bunch of boxes placed on a grid. I also tried to make the orc pose contrapposto to give him that natural confidence that comes with Pantene-soft luxurious hair. It's not a polished illustration. There's few lines, and no chiaroscuro, but I think
the dimensionality of it is still there
