My trial period for both Adobe Photoshop CS4 and Elements CS4 expired ... Fortunately, I discovered that I own Elements 3.0 in a bundle of software that came with my WACOM. Version 3.0 is no longer supported, and has significant graphical artifacts in Vista;  it's like working with a dull knife; however, it has been an opportunity to think in different ways about how to produce a desired effect using an extremely limited and blunted tool. I sort of enjoy the challenge. It's allowed me insight: compare the process of mastering a conventional medium with a digital medium. There's no question computers have allowed Art to evolve.

I also noticed the student version of CS4 now allows you to use it for commercial purposes (inside the U.S. only). Not too long ago, such use was prohibited. I'm curious why ... but not quite curious enough to search the Net and provide relevant links.

It's nearing the end of the second semester at school, and I've kept busy with homework (some of which I've posted).

No news is good news.
