Radar had a lot of misadventures. He was in trouble with the law, almost killed by a pit-bull, run over (both tires, and on more than one occasion), went head-first into fox holes, fought with a cougar, and narrowly escaped from a trash compactor (you'd think that only happens in movies). I'm missing many. My sister, Jen, made a cute children's book about him. Here he is, limping around on three legs because he can't go fifteen minutes on a leash without getting himself tangled.

A portrait of Radar (for Jen). Acrylic on masonite, 8"x6".
Here's what the process for this painting turned out to be. I still have much to learn and improve.
A more intelligent and orderly way to do a painting might be: large shapes to small shapes, dark to light, thin viscosity to thick viscosity, and background to foreground.
